“Swimming on the Boulevard”

               This quacky contest, held at 4 PM Sunday, July 13, 2008, is the final major event of the Bear Paw Festival. 

     Eagle River Rotary Club members dump more than 1000 numbered, plastic ducks into the race slough in front of the main stage.  Each duck was “sold” beforehand, and the lucky ducks whose quacker cross the finish line could be the grand prize winner!

              Race tickets are $10 apiece and will be available through June and during the Bear Paw Festival.
