THE BLOOD BANK            

    The Blood Bank of Alaska needs our help!  They will have the “Life Mobile” in the midst of the Festival to accept volunteer donors.  They will be drawing blood on Friday from 6-9; Saturday 11 – 6; & Sunday 11 – 5.  You can find them at the MOA Park and Ride lot.  Let’s beat last year’s donation’s of 100 pints!  Be the first on your block to sidle up and donate!

      The Blood Bank of Alaska is a non-profit organization that serves almost 30 regional medical centers and hospitals. They have proudly served the blood needs of Alaskans for over 35 years. Blood is a critical, perishable resource that must be constantly renewed to ensure sufficient supplies are on hand to meet the needs of the Alaskan Community.  Stop by and leave a pint!

LIFE ALASKA DONOR SERVICES

      Don't take your organs to heaven...heaven knows we need them here!

      Life Alaska Donor Services will be hosting an information and donor registration table at the Mainstage at Mat Valley Federal Credit Union on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

     Come by and visit their friendly staff ...sign up to be an organ and tissue donor.

     Did you know that more thank half of the citizens and 70 percent of the registered drivers in Alaska are now registered organ and tissue donors!

CHUGIAK SENIOR CENTER

        While visiting the Mainstage at Mat Valley Federal Credit Union, stop by the Chugiak Senior Center Booth. Learn about their extensive programs including both their campus and community outreach programs.  Have a blood pressure check... it can save your life! The Chugiak Senior Center will be on site Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
