Come earn bragging rights for

Anchorage/Eagle River/ Wasilla Area

          Lexi Sayer and Lorrie Clifford are Chugiak H.S. student athletes and play together for Chugiak girls basketball team. They are the selectees to represent Alaska and Chugiak H.S. in the Nike Tournament of Champions in Phoenix, Arizona on July 21st.

         As part of their required fundraising, they have organized a 3-on-3 Tournament in conjunction with the Bear Paw Festival.  All of the proceeds go towards the Alaska Lady Hoops Summer Tournament costs.

There are six divisions planned for the Bear Paw 3-on-3 Tourny:

Girls

7th /8th Grade

9th / 10th Grade

11th / 12th grade

Boys

7th /8th Grade

9th / 10th Grade

11th / 12th grade

The grade in the fall of 2008 will determine the participants level. Participants may play in a higher division but not a lower one.

Cost to enter is $15 per person, minimum of 3 participants on one team and a maximum of 4.

Pre-registration can be completed by dropping off a completed entry form and appropriate fee at the Chamber office in the Eagle River Shopping Center, or to Troy Sayer State Farm office on the Old Glenn or by mailing it into Lexi Sayer & Lorrie Clifford, PO BOX 772121, Eagle River, Ak 99577

Mailed forms must be postmarked by July 9th.

Note: Pre-registration will also take place on the day of the event between 10am and Noon at Chugiak H.S. main gym. The tournament will begin sharply at 1pm.
